Apple releases iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

Apple announced the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus today. The newer iPhones have the following features: 3D Touch (pressure sensitive touch) Haptic feedback like Apple Watch Live Photos software feature Front Flash for selfies (by making screen bright) Improved front and back cameras (5MP front, 12 MP back) 4K video recording at 60 fps Second generation Touch ID A9 chip with M9 motion chip Apple also released a new Rose Gold color in addition to Silver, Gold and Space Gray colors. The new phones will be up for pre-order on 12th September and will ship on 25th September, for $649 (16GB), $749 (64GB) and $849 (128GB) for iPhone 6s and $100 more for iPhone 6s Plus. iOS 9 will be available on September 16 for all users.

Apple released iPhone 5C and 5S

iPhone 5C iPhone 5S Apple has released the iPhone 5C and 5S models. iPhone 5C is just an iPhone 5 with a plastic body. It comes in 5 colors: Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink and White. The iPhone 5S is a newer iteration of the iPhone 5. Notable features include: 2 LED flash lights for camera, Burst mode for camera, Touch ID (Fingerprint sensor in the home button) and a new A7 64-bit processor with a M7 chip to handle motion tracking. The 5S is available in Silver (previously known as white), Space gray (previously known as black) and a new gold color. The iPhone 5C costs $99 (16GB) and $199 (32GB) on contract. Though almost all carriers in the US are selling it for FREE with contract. The iPhone 5S retails for $199, $299 and $399 for 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with contract. These are also $100 cheaper if purchased through a carrier.

Apple announced iOS 7 at WWDC today. iOS 7 redefines iOS and is the biggest change since the launch of the iPhone. Besides the new UI experience, it has several new features: Camera - now you can add filters like Instagram Photos - new views to organize Camera Roll into moments based on location Photo Stream - now you can contribute pictures to public streams Weather - new look that shows weathers for all location in a single view Maps - now you can send directions from the Mac (OS X Maverick) to iOS AppStore - added "Nearby" section to see popular apps in an area Control center - pull up a menu from the bottom to access settings (added flashlight) Music - cover flow is discontinued, now features a grid view of album art iTunes Radio - Apple's take on Pandora and Spotify Activation Lock - Lost iOS devices can only be activated with your Apple ID, even after a wipe Multitasking - now you can see apps as cards (like BlackBerry and WebOS) and flick to close

Its WWDC again and Apple has announced iOS 6, the next generation of its mobile operating system. There are a lot of major changes in this iteration of iOS, main changes include: Maps - No more Google Maps! Apple's own Maps application with maps served by TomTom Do Not Disturb - Mute your notifications and calls at night so no one wakes you up Mail - a new Mail application with VIP lists synced with iCloud Siri - now supports sports and movies, more things you can ask Passbook - a wallet for boarding passes, tickets, cards, etc. Facetime without WiFi - now you can use 3G Facebook integration - now share from any app Share Photo Streams with Friends and Family Advanced call handing - send to voicemail, send text reply, etc. Lots of under the hood changes...
